The aim of the present study was to investigate the role of transformational leadership of school principals in the innovative work behavior of teachers by mediating teachers' knowledge sharing. The research was quantitative and especially correlational. 548 primary school teachers of Qorve city (340 women and 208 men) were research population, according to Morgan's table, 225 teachers were selected as the sample size.stratified random sampling method was used to select the sample members. Data collection tools included transformational leadership, knowledge sharing, and innovative work behavior questionnaires. The reliability and validity of the tool was checked through Cronbach's alpha and confirmatory factor analysis, the results indicated the appropriate reliability and validity of the tool. From structural equation modeling with Lisrel v. 10.30 was used for data analysis. The results indicated that: transformational leadership of school principals had direct, positive and significant effects at the 0.05 level on teachers' innovative work behavior (0.38) and teachers' knowledge sharing (0.60); Teachers' knowledge sharing had a direct, positive and significant effect at the 0.05 level on teachers' innovative work behavior with a value of (0.31); Also, the transformational leadership of school principals through the sharing of teachers' knowledge had an indirect, positive and significant effect at the level of 0.05 on the innovative work behavior of teachers with a value of (0.186); School principals' transformational leadership and teachers' knowledge sharing are able to meaningfully explain 38% of the variance of teachers' innovative work behavior. To determine the relative importance of hidden variables in the experimental model, the importance-performance matrix was used; As a result of the transformational leadership of school principals and the sharing of teachers' knowledge in innovative work behavior, teachers were of high importance and high performance and were in the consolidation zone.
