Investigating the relationship between ethical leadership and organizational virtue with the mediating role of social responsibility in Tabriz education

This research was conducted with the aim of investigating the relationship between ethical leadership and organizational virtue with the mediating role of social responsibility in Tabriz education. This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive in nature. In the current research, the correlation method of structural equation model analysis is used. In order to collect information, ethical leadership questionnaires, organizational virtue questionnaires and organizational social responsibility questionnaires were used. The research population includes all education workers in the five districts of Tabriz, and 475 education workers in the five districts of Tabriz were randomly selected as a statistical sample. For data collection, questionnaires on ethical leadership, organizational virtue and social responsibility were used. To measure the reliability of the questionnaires, Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used, which was 0.85 for the ethical leadership questionnaires, 0.88 for the organizational virtue questionnaires and 0.89 for the social responsibility questionnaires, which indicates the measurement stability of the questionnaires used. To examine the validity of the questionnaires, content validity was examined and approved based on the opinions of experts. To analyze the data of this research, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and structural equations modeling by partial least squares method were used. The results of the research showed that there is a significant relationship between ethical leadership and organizational virtue and social responsibility, and a significant relationship was also observed between ethical leadership and organizational virtue and the mediating role of social responsibility. According to the results, it can be claimed that ethical leadership, organizational virtue, and social responsibility are three key pillars in creating a sustainable and ethical education organization, and ethical leadership in organizations by promoting and modeling organizational virtues becomes the basis for strengthening social responsibility.
