Discipline of employees is a traditional concept of management that has continued in postmodern management approaches. There is no doubt that achieving the goals of work discipline in today's era requires a fundamental revision. In this regard, the current research was conducted with the aim of presenting and validating the discipline model of academic staff members. From the point of view of the purpose of this research, it is a basic research that was conducted with a mixed method. Also, in terms of the method and time frame of data collection, it is a survey-cross-sectional research. The statistical population of the qualitative section includes 17 experimental and theoretical experts in the field of study. In the quantitative section, the viewpoint of 70 faculty members has been used. The data collection tool is a semi-structured interview and a researcher-made questionnaire. For validation in the qualitative part of the research, the Holstein coefficient was used and calculated. The rate of agreement between the two coders between 10 and 20 percent of the data has been obtained in this method as 0.717, which is higher than 0.6, so the validity of the qualitative analysis of the research is confirmed. In order to validate the research questionnaire, content validity was also used and its validity was confirmed. The validity of the questionnaire was investigated with three methods of construct validity, convergent validity and divergent validity. The value of convergent validity for all research components was greater than 0.5. Also, the combined reliability and Cronbach's alpha of all research components were greater than 0.7 and the validity and reliability of the questionnaire was confirmed. Qualitative content analysis, structural-interpretive modeling and partial least squares were used for data analysis. The results showed that management behavior and work environment have a high power of influence and influence organizational climate and organizational justice through discipline training. These factors also significantly strengthen the culture of discipline in the organization. Finally, through the institutionalization of discipline culture, employee discipline can be increased.
