Investigation of the relationship between organizational learning culture with psychological empowerment and organizational innovation according to the mediating role of organizational learning on the staff of National Iranian Drilling Company

The aim of this study was to investigation of the relationship between organizational learning culture with psychological empowerment and organizational innovation, as well as the mediating role of organizational learning. The method was correlation through Structural equation modeling (SEM) design. The study population will consist of all the employees of National Iranian Drilling Company which 240 people were selected using stratified random sampling. Data have been gathered by organizational learning culture questionnaire (Watkins & Marsick, 2003), organizational learning questionnaire (Lopez, Peon & Ordas), psychological empowerment questionnaire (Spreitzer, 1995) and organizational innovation questionnaire (Wang & Ahmed, 2004), and analyzed with structural equation modeling and bootstrap method. Structural equation modeling analyses indicated that the proposed model fit the data properly. The results supported the direct effect of organizational learning culture on organizational learning, direct effect of organizational learning on psychological empowerment and organizational innovation and indirect effect of organizational learning culture on psychological empowerment and organizational innovation through organizational learning.
